At Buchwald Orthodontics, we believe that the highest level of education and training is of utmost importance in providing the best possible care to our patients. Even after completing an additional 3 years of education and training during his orthodontic residency, Dr. Buchwald took additional steps to ensure he is delivering the highest standard of care. He passed both a written and clinical examination where he presented numerous treatment cases of his patients for expert evaluation. Passing these extra examinations allowed Dr. Buchwald to become a board-certified orthodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a distinction held by less than 35% of orthodontists.

Buchwald Orthodontics uses only the highest quality and most up-to-date orthodontic materials including Invisalign clear aligners as well as self-ligating clear and metal braces. With these advanced technologies comes greater treatment efficiency resulting in quicker/easier adjustment visits and less time in treatment overall. In addition, the technology we use results in improved esthetics and comfort during treatment. We use the latest imaging techniques on our patients including digital panoramic/cephalometric x-rays and iTero scanning. Our iTero scanner is used for 3-D digital impressions for Invisalign aligners, expanders, and other appliances, eliminating the need for messy traditional alginate impressions.
